Join us this week as we play a game of Fiasco in a module that we created ourselves!

This week, Alex, Chris and Ryan play Espionage Fiasco, the cleverly titled module they wrote years and years ago. In this game, things have finally come to a head in the Independent Republic of Latveria when two old rivals, the head of the country and the head of the intelligence service, finally decide to settle their score as the country is hosting an economic summit with leaders from all over the world. Caught in the middle (other than all the innocent people) is the leader’s wife, who is also a double-secret spy.

What will happen between these two age-old rivals? How many innocent people need to die? Will one of them win, or will things be a fiasco? Listen to find out!

Aboard his giant battle planet, a massive space station capable of destroying entire star systems, the fearsome Lord Doomicus attempts to crush the scrappy Insurgent Alliance once and for all. A giant battle planet doesn’t run itself,, however, and the totalitarian Dark Lord requires an army of support staff to keep his superweapon crushing rebellions. Among these are Rolfio Scantron, an IT professional with a bad attitude and an overly friendly helper robot named Chit Chat Chip, Cyborg X-32-11-A, a Lightning Soldier who met with an unfortunate demise and had his body parts re-purposed, and Dash Adventura, a junior-grade accountant who moonlights as DJ Dümstar at the forbidden Battle Planet raves. When the Insurgents make a daring attempt to raid the battle planet’s architectural library in search of the station’s plans, it will be up to these three nobodies to foil the enemy’s plans. Can they pull it off?

In the sleepy little town of Hunterhill, or “Hauntedhill,” as the locals call it, Magic and Science are locked in a constant struggle. Dr. Algobatts, a science teacher at the local high school, strives to free as many young minds as possible from the influence of astrology and mysticism. In opposition, Sheriff Prendergast, a former pupil who failed Algobatts’ science class, has found power and success with the aid of a witch’s spellbook that allows him to control the forces of nature itself. Caught between the two extremes is J.J., the sheriff’s son, who is also Dr. Algobatts’ star student. When the aliens begin to send the angry scientist messages from space and the spirits from the sorcerous sheriff’s book begin to stir, it’ll be up to J.J. and his faithful canine companion, the talking German Shepherd Deputy Scrapps McWoof, to save the entire town from the aliens…or are they demons? A German banker flies across the Atlantic on the Hindenburg with a secret stash of Nazi gold. His grandson, a time traveling thief, plots to go back and join the infamous last voyage in order to steal it. His grandson is a time traveling cop, sworn to protect the space-time continuum by foiling his grandfather’s schemes. Little do any of them know that a body-swapping, chrono-jumping alien hell-bent on irradiating the gold has also been tossed into the mix, along with its cohort in crime, who was once incarnated as the lover of the German banker. Can the Rag-NERD-rok Crew unknot this twisted tale of time-hopping mayhem, or are their attempts destined to go down in a ball of inexplicable fire? Listen to find out!
