The S*P*A*M*S continue their investigation of the kelpie, hoping to learn its plans for the five college students it kidnapped on the lake. There seems to be a connection between the creature and social media mogul Brent Blake, whose wife died in a car accident caused by the only survivor of the boat party, Justin Sykes. They learn that Blake is hosting a yacht (pronounced “ee-yatch-t”) party on the lake, and has invited a number of wealthy guests to participate in some kind of auction. Can the elderly hunters infiltrate the gala event without Blake getting wise? What do the kelpie and its probable master have in store for the abductees? Is there a chance that they can be saved? In a world where advanced age unlocks a latent connection to the supernatural, several elderly residents of a small town retirement community band together to form The Shady Pines Amateur Monster Slayers.
