The Tomb has gotten even more fucked up than usual, especially with that weirdo Dave skulking around. I’ve heard that Nurse Sin and Barbarossa are looking for him, but who knows why? He and Specter seem to have some kind of an understanding, something about the tunnel in his workshop. Grandma Vega seems to have some clue about what’s really going on, which might just be a scarier turn of events than all of the cannibalism. He says there’s a band of brainers who live out in the Mendy’s, and that Dave is one of their emissaries. Now, it looks like they’ve got their sights set on Akatomi and everyone inside. Can we possibly survive the coming onslaught of brainwashed cannibals and psychos with mind powers?

With the raiding party back from its expedition into the wastes, the denizens of Akatomi Plaza can breathe easy—well, easier than usual, anyhow. Our resident brainer is still on the hunt for some tubing to fix her broken violation glove, and it looks like she’s paid off Half-Pint, the leader of a biker gang called the TBDs, to be her bodyguard. And I’ve heard that DJ Found is on the hunt for more followers, hoping to convert others with Calligraphy’s sick beats and funky rhymes. Everybody’s occupied with their own shit, but there’s still the little cannibal problem happening, and something tells me that isn’t going away on its own…

Picking up where we left off last time, the disturbing trend of cannibalism in the Akatomi hardhold continues. When Barbarossa finds a mother munching on her infant, she turns to Nurse Sin for answers. Sin has issues of her own, however, tracking down the necessary plastic tubing to repair her broken Violation Glove. Specter might know who has some, but he’s got his hands full with an angry three-armed community member who won’t let him forget the unnecessary implant he gave her. And our great DJ, Found Wantvision? Well, she’s spending most of her time up on the roof, keeping an eye out for the raiding party, which still hasn’t returned. With food running low, it’s clear that everyone’s getting desperate, but are the cannibals the result of starvation or a darker force? Has Grandma Vega, The Tomb’s distant hardholder, finally gone around the bend, or is he having prescient dreams of a flea market in the wastelands? Find out, in this week’s Actual Play!
