The Shady Pines Retirement Community in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, is a quiet place to spend your golden years—too quiet, in fact, for some. To stave off the boredom of circling the drain in ease and comfort, a group of residents with a knack for sleuthing decide to investigate the sudden disappearance of a neighbor who seemingly picked up and left in the middle of the night. They track her to Albuquerque, New Mexico, the site of an injury that left her hospitalized for months and may have had lingering effects that no doctor could anticipate. As they investigate further, they uncover a series of disappearances that all seem connected to a medical supply company that provides blood to local hospitals, but what could the connection mean? The Shady Pines Amateur Mystery Solvers are on the case!

This is a really good scenario which has some pretty interesting ideas, though I agree that SPAMS was not the best zero point for this scenario (but I hope maybe it can come up again). Does Ed have a full write of this, or at least the “Entity” in digital form? I’d love to take a look at it, maybe run this as Delta Green which would give a lot of the buy in needed to keep going (plus DG wouldn’t go “why the fuck do we fight monsters”, it’s more like “fuck why is it always monsters? Well, let’s go do something dumb to save humanity”). Actually, has anybody at RNR checked out the new Delta Green rules, it’s really a pretty solid game.
