This is a recipe for a much-requested chili I make every year for Wrestlemania. It’s a dish loved by nerds and nerd’s moms alike. Try it out.

There’s a great post up over at Io9 about 10 works of science fiction that changed the world. It’s a quick but pretty fascinating read. Check it out:

Over the weekend, I saw a video on BoingBoing that drove me into a fit of childish envy. It was a recording of Shinji Saito, the 2011 Yo-Yo World Champion, performing his face-meltingly amazing routine, a double-fisted ballet of loops, tosses, and body tricks far beyond my limited yo-yo capabilities. Saito wielded his yo-yos like a cat might its claws, if a cat could break dance: not as foreign objects under his expert control, but as natural extensions of his own limbs. It was a bravura performance, and it pained me to know that I will never in my life be able to do anything even half as awesome with a yo-yo.

In Episode Two of “Dead of Winter,” country lawyer Neil Price visits Cassandra Donner in a surprising location to get her side of the story. She sheds some light on Sarah’s relationship with her father by telling Neil what happened before the prom, and we learn just what happened in the hotel room on the night of the murder.
The Gregory Brothers, those geniuses of auto-tuning, have worked their magic spell yet again, this time on an eHarmony dating video made by a woman who is overwhelmed by her love for cats. Not only does this video feature a hilarious and catchy tune, it also contains tons and tons of adorable kitties dancing and playing instruments, not to mention a fabulous insert of the Nyan cat meme. Apparently, The Gregorys also have a new app, called ‘Songify,’ out for the iPhone and iTouch, which, as an Android user, makes me both excited and irritated. Oh well. Maybe they’ll come to their senses and put up an Android version soon.
Anywho, enjoy! (Video after the break.)
