In the sleepy community of Richmond, Maine, there’s an old Victorian house where kindly Scottish widow Mrs. Wells runs a bed and breakfast. However, both the Titor House and its owner are far more than they appear: Mrs. Wells is a powerful archmage in the service of universal forces of benevolence, and her quaint B&B can serve as a doorway across time. When an escaped mental patient, a befuddled antiques collector, an aging hippie chick, a smooth-talking burglar/con artist, a proselytizing new-age mystic and a TV bounty hunter check in, they’re asked to participate in a mission to save the world itself from the forces of evil. Join us this week for the first episode of Ed’s new Mage: The Ascension campaign, The Titor House!

Campaign Navigator: Mage: The Awakening – “The Titor House”

  • Maaage! I’ve only ever read Revised and have no idea how these non-instant-backlash rules work. I’m ready to have my mind blown by a Paradox manifestation in session three.

and, uh, are there seriously hundreds of listeners and I’m the only one who comments regularly? are other people commenting somewhere else? make me feel all creepy!

That’s what the Blubrry download counter tells us. Unless a few people are downloading the same files repeatedly from different IP addresses–or lots of new people listen to each new episode and then don’t come back–we have about 200 listeners who don’t really comment.

We used to have another regular called Citadel who’d comment on our EP games, but I think Meyer scared him off. There are a few others out there who comment occasionally. Nirvash. Journ-O-List 3. Rhythm Bastard (who Ed met at ICON last year).

We’re a bit starved for feedback here on Rag-NERD-rok.

And as for the Paradox, I wouldn’t worry about that. I’m sure by the third or fourth game, someone will roll up enough of it for a fun backlash. That was always my favorite part of Storytelling for Mage.

        Oh hi

      • well, I’ll be around, for sure! you guys are hilarious. an interestingly different texture from RPPR.

    • Alex

Actually, some of our games get up to 500 or more downloads. Which is kind of crazy.

  • Journ-O-LST-3

I’d comment more but even when I can get to the site un-proxied, China hates your comments system.

  • Ethan C.

I’m just now listening to these episodes…but I’m lovin’ this Mage game.
