At long last, the Stray Thoughts team has secured an invitation to Elis’ party, where they can confront the former Proxy Mute and learn the reasons behind her takedown of Firewall. Elis reveals more than they bargained for, however, and now the ex-Sentinels have no choice but to trust her if they hope to stop the ETI threat from wiping out humanity. It seems that Proxy Steel has been withholding information from the group about the true nature of their mission, information that explains the strange, intrusive memories that have begun to surface in their minds.
